marina for boating etc.
Also did Hocking Hills- gorgeous part of
Ohio stayed in cabins and went hiking, and
swimming in their olympic size pool.
Cedar Point Amusement Park for
something different, stayed in Vermillion Ohio on
Lake Erie.
Great Wolf Lodge by
King's Island - a blast!
Ronald McDonald House -
Cincinnati
Brownie Troop 2310 and
their parents spent time at the
Cincinnati
Ronald McDonald House on
September 29th making brunch for
approximately 75 people who were staying
there. The girls helped in the kitchen,
socialized with and served seconds to
the guests, cleaned up the brunch mess,
and cleaned the toy room during their
visit. When asked what the best part
was, one of the girls said "Making
parents with sick children smile".
Ronald McDonald House - Dayton
Brownie Troop 2310 donated pop tabs,
househould items, etc. to the Dayton
Ronald McDonald House earlier
this year. Our troop was considered too
young to prepare a meal, however, they
did show the girls a video that gave
information about the
Ronald McDonald House, and they
had a brief tour of the facility. It
was a great introduction prior to our
visit and meal preparation at the
Cincinnati
Ronald McDonald House.
